HSP Donates to Aurora Schools

Steve and Jeff waiting to drop off school supplies to Aurora 131.

As a result of many generous donations, HSP was able to donate an entire vanload of school and office supplies to the Aurora School District 131 Child Services and Preschool Center in Aurora, IL.  We sent over 36 cases of supplies, including paper, pencils, highlighters, staples, paper towels, envelopes, among other items, to the school district, and the children they serve.

HSP would especially like to thank our volunteers Steve Stasiak and Jeff Marker, who kindly donated their time to drive the supplies to Aurora, last Friday.

The Aurora School District 131 Child Services Office is a section of the Aurora School District, which deals primarily with the areas of Special Education, Health Services, Homebound Students, Homeless Students, and Student Records. The building also houses a preschool, which is affiliated with the district. After dropping the supplies off, Steve and Jeff let us know that everyone at the center was ecstatic to be receiving the supplies. Likewise, we are happy to know that these supplies will soon be in the hands of children who really need them.
