Today HSP bids
farewell to the last remaining member of our summer intern team, Meridyth
Patrick. Meridyth has been with HSP for three months as our accounting intern.
In that time she has been working alongside HSP’s Co-founder and CFO Floyd
Kettering, assisting him with all of HSP’s accounting needs. She worked with
Floyd to close out our last fiscal year, completed drafting our annual 990 tax
return, along with the multitude of daily tasks accountants are responsible
for. Meridyth not only produced great work throughout her internship, but
brought along a cheerful attitude that kept things bright here at HSP this
summer. Everyone at HSP wishes her the best as she moves on to more exciting
adventures in her life.
When she first
started here, Meridyth said she became interested in the internship with HSP
because of her strong desire to use her talents and energy to serve those in
need. Through her summer of service she, along with all of the other interns
who HSP was blessed to have this summer, have certainly accomplished that. We
at HSP wish to thank Meridyth and our other summer interns for all they have
done for the sake of the needy seniors, children, and families touched by HSP’s
programs.
