It continues to be
an exciting week at HSP as yesterday our friends from the Bloomingdale-Roselle
Rotary Club stopped by with a generous school supply donation in tow. The club
raised funds and purchased over $300 worth of school supplies for the sake of
the needy children served by our School Supply Drive. Rotary Club members Tim
Jarzemsky, Chuck Klinnaman, and Rob Burns graciously delivered the supplies to
HSP’s Center yesterday with a minivan stuffed with school supplies. The Rotary
Club of Bloomingdale-Roselle has been a supporter of HSP for 15 years, and this
is the second year in a row they have made a big donation for our School Supply
Drive.
While the Back to
School Fairs for needy families in DuPage and Kane have already happened, HSP’s
School Supply Drive is still going strong. Everything HSP collects from this
point onward will be delivered directly to local schools with high populations
of needy children. HSP has received donations from dozens of generous community
members, service groups, and businesses. With their help HSP endeavors to
supply more than 3200 living under poverty with the supplies they need to
succeed in the upcoming school year. If you too would like to help HSP serve
these needy children, call us at 630-221-8340.
