St. Joan of Arc School Gets the Party Started!

Today, HSP received a very welcome visit from our friends at St. Joan of Arc School in Lisle. The students at St. Joan of Arc, and their parents, ran a donation drive to provide birthday party supplies to the needy children served by our Children’s Birthday Project. Each family was asked to provide one item for a needy boy or girl, but as the size of the donation attests, everyone at St. Joan of Arc generously gave much more. The donation filled two SUVs to the brim with party supplies (like cake mix, frosting, balloons, streamers, party favors, and more,) toys, and school supplies for needy kids!

Deana Arndt, member of the St. Joan of Arc PSO, who organized the drive told us that everyone at the school really took to the idea and ran with it, totally exceeding her expectations. This outpouring of support from the school will go along way in HSP’s goal to provide a special and memorable birthday to 925 impoverished children every year. We wish to thank everyone at St. Joan of Arc for this amazing donation!
