HSP would like to send our deepest thanks to Saint Walter Church in Roselle for such a generous donation through their vacation bible school. The donation, graciously picked up by our intrepid volunteer Pete, came in the form of seventeen boxes packed to the brim of a variety of things including school supplies, clothing, personal care items like shampoo and toothpaste, and household items like laundry detergent. These supplies were just what the doctor ordered as a number of the donated items, particularly school supplies and paper products, are items that are in high demand for many of our projects. These graciously donated supplies will go towards a number of programs here including our School Supply Program and our Senior Citizen Project.
The supplies were donated through Saint Walters’ yearly Vacation Bible Camp drive, in which children are encouraged to give to those who are in need. Humanitarian Service Project is very appreciative to the efforts of these young donors and their families for mobilizing in such a big way to help HSP reach those in need, as well as, the wonderful volunteers who help make our operation run smoothly.
