You Don’t Want to Miss This – RibFest 2016

Folks – it is not too late to become a volunteer at the annual Naperville Ribfest happening July 1st through 4th this summer!  There will be music from favorite artists 3 Doors Down and Sheryl Crow, there will be food, and we’re sure it’s going to be a blast.
The annual event is hosted by the Exchange Club of Naperville, and gives generous volunteers like YOU the chance to serve and support your favorite charities.  In the past, Ribfest has helped raise funds for more than 50 local charities, and it is all thanks to the volunteers who help out at the event.  Sign-ups for volunteers are open online.

The more volunteers who represent HSP at the event, the more funds will go to support our Feed the Kids program.  To learn more about volunteering at Ribfest, go to http://www.ribfest.net/volunteer/.  If you sign up, or have any questions please contact HSP at 630-221-8340 or email hsp@humanitarianservice.org to let us know if you would like to be a volunteer for HSP at Ribfest.  Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity!

Happy Trails to Katelyn

Yesterday, HSP bid farewell to one of the wonderful members of our internship team. Katelyn Adducci had been part of the HSP team since October. Katelyn joined HSP’s team to complete her first year “practicum” at Adler University. Katelyn spent her time at HSP interviewing the deserving seniors in our Senior Citizen Project, updating our knowledge on their needs. Katelyn was a blessing to our seniors and a joy to have around the office. We at HSP wish to thank her for her support, and wish her well as she moves on in her education.
