Volunteer Spotlight: Gift Wrappers
This
week, HSP has been blessed to have a number of groups who graciously gave their
time to wrap gifts for the children in our Children’s Birthday Project. On
Monday, seven volunteers from US Cellular came on site and wrapped gifts for 2
hours. Our friends at College of DuPage’s “COD Cares” hosted an un-birthday
party and wrapped gifts for 25 children yesterday. Today, Journey Church in
Elmhurst picked up gifts for 20 children that they will wrap for us. We at HSP
would like to send out a huge thanks to these groups for all of their help.
Thanks to their work in preparing us for upcoming birthdays, as well as all of
the other wonderful wrappers, the children enrolled in our Children’s Birthday
Project have a special Birthday Box waiting just for them.
