Wonderful group of volunteers from Living Out Loud!

            On this lovely Thursday, we had two volunteer groups come in from St. Petronille Parish in Glen Ellyn, Resurrection Bartlett, and Visitation in Elmhurst. This was the Living Out Loud group of 7^th and 8^th graders from the three churches.

            Every summer they have a 2-day service retreat where they do all different kinds of service and for many years, they have been coming to HSP. Valerie Della Penne organized the kids to come in today. The morning group worked on packing 100, 25 lbs boxes of non-perishable food items for our Feed the Kids program and the afternoon group finished the boxes and helped us sort 70 cases of meat. All the kids were very hard working and ready for any task they were given to do.
