Summer
is a busy time for HSP, and we are very happy to host many wonderful volunteer
groups who help us through our busy seasons. Yesterday, a group of ten
volunteers from St. Pius X Catholic Community’s youth group put together
packages of bread for the 100 families in our Feed the Kids program. Today,
another group of 11 summer interns from Frito-Lay/PepsiCo volunteered their
morning to put together packages of meat for the 133 seniors we serve through
the Senior Citizen Project. HSP would like to say a huge thank-you to these
wonderful groups for volunteering their time and energy to help us prepare for
the upcoming distribution days. We couldn’t do all that we do without the help
