Tomorrow HSP will be rounding out Volunteer
Appreciation Week with our monthly Delivery Day for our Senior Citizen Project.
Every month, dozens of volunteers donate their time to help HSP distribute over
6.5 tons of much needed groceries to 133 seniors who rely on our program for
their nutrition. We want to thank all of the volunteers who make our Delivery
Days possible.
HSP would also like to
recognize our friends at UPS Supply Chain Solutions in Carol Stream. They
volunteer their time the day before each of our Delivery Days to help us sort
the fresh produce and bread that the seniors receive. 3 volunteers from UPS
joined us today. HSP is so grateful for their support.
