Saturday was a big day for HSP, as we
distributed gifts and groceries to 150 of the low-income families served by our
Christmas Offering. Each family received over 200 lbs. of groceries which
included; fresh produce, frozen meat, bread, non-perishables, and a turkey for
a holiday meal. Every child in these families also received a minimum of three
Christmas gifts. There were over 60 volunteers who helped us serve these
deserving families. We want to thank them all for making the day a success.

Today, we are distributing to low-income students at Army Trail Elementary
school in Addison, and tomorrow we will be distributing to another 140 or so
families directly from our Center. We wish to extend a huge thank you to all the
volunteers and donors who have made this possible!
