Glenbard South High School Volunteers at HSP

Today we happily welcomed back our regular volunteers from the Transitions class from Glenbard South High School. This group volunteers almost every month to build vocational skills and to give back to the community. We had nine volunteers from the group who graciously spent over an hour and a half sorting canned fruits and vegetables that will be given to needy families at Christmas time. The Transitions class always shows up in high spirits ready to serve whenever they join us here at HSP. We’d like to thank them for doing so much to help us reach out to seniors and families in need!
