The Results Are In

HSP participated again in the Human Race last Saturday. The 5k Run/Walk event was an effort to raise money to support local charities around DuPage County. The race had a huge turnout including 15 runners and walkers that represented HSP. We would like to thank everyone who supported our team and Giving DuPage for organizing the wonderful event. It was a beautiful day to be outside and active while supporting a good cause that benefits needy members of our communities. One of our volunteer runners, Melissa Schmitz, earned a medal by finishing in third place for her age bracket. Great job Melissa!

HSP raised enough money to fully sponsor a senior citizen in the Senior Citizen Project and 7 children in the Children’s Birthday Project thanks to all those who supported our team. Giving DuPage put on a successful event that joined donors and volunteers to benefit 58 local charities, and HSP was grateful to participate in this fun event!
